Draconian - Announce New Bassist

Draconian have posted the following message on their official website :

Posted 09.04.2006 - New bass player - line up completed...

As previous announced bassist Jesper Stolpe has decided to leave the band in order to prioritize his work and family life. Some time ago his wife gave birth to a little boy and Draconian would like to officially wish Jesper and his family good luck in the future to come. As with the band, Draconian now have found a replacement to fill the vacant position. Draconian is proud to introduce the skilful bass player Fredrik Johansson to the line up. Together with (previous announced) new guitarist Daniel Arvidsson, Fredrik now completes the Draconian roster.

As for the live line up, session member Sanne Carlsson will continue to replace Andreas Karlsson on synthesizer.

Draconian - New Material Soon

Posted 14.09.2005 - New bonus-album in progress...

Draconian is about to record a bonus album this fall. Note that it's NOT the follow up to "Arcane Rain Fell". The album will feature three new songs, two or three demo songs in new versions and three covers. As for the new songs; we can promise heavy and truly tearful songs in dark gothic splendor. Prepare to weep!

The working title is "The Burning Halo" and the album will be released through Napalm Records at the end of the year.

Draconian - Line Up Changes

Posted 03.06.2005 - Important notice...

Due to other commitments and lack of time, rhythm guitarist Magnus Bergström a.k.a. Bergis, have taken a leave of absence for an indefinite period of time. Bergis has been the rhythm guitarist of Draconian since October 1995. His fellow brothers and sister of The Draconian Horde wishes him the best of luck with his settlements. For replacement, a long time friend of the band, Daniel Arvidsson a.k.a. Arvid, have stepped in to take his place as a fulltime member of Draconian. We welcome Arvid to our dark odyssey of doom.

More line-up changes to follow: Draconian are now looking for a new bass player. Unfortunatly Jesper Stolpe will soon leave the band for family commitments, but he will do his best to help us out as long he is able to. If You live nearby and are interested to fill his spot, don't hesitate to contact us at contact@draconianse.
That's all for now, folks. Keep on doomin'!
