Portuguese metallers Moonspell have recently released the first video from the upcoming DVD/Blu-Ray/3CD package, Lisboa Under The Spell, which will be released on August 17th via Napalm Records (in Portugal exclusive distribution by Alma Mater Books & Records and Rastilho Records). Moonspell - Cancel Two Mexican Shows

Moonspell have cancelled their Mexican shows in Chihuahua and Merida. According to the band's statement, which you can read below, the promoters are to blame for this unfortunate event, but the band will play tonight at Hell And Heaven Festival in Mexico City.

Amorphis - To Tour N. America With Dark Tranquillity, Moonspell, Omnium Gatherum

A super tour has just been announced for North America. Four European bands - Finns Amorphis, Swedes Dark Tranquillity, Portuguese Moonspell and Finnish Omnium Gatherum - will join forces in September and October this year. Don't miss this tour! Moonspell - New Album Streaming Online, Debut Video

Moonspell - Release New Song And Lyric Video

The Portuguese metallers Moonspell have chosen today (Friday the 13th) to share their brand new song and video. The song is called "Evento" (The Event) and will appear on the upcoming album, 1755, sung entirely in Portuguese and the musical chronicling of the 1755 earthquake that struck Lisbon, Portugal. Moonspell - Unveil New Album Cover, Tracklist

Portugal's Moonspell are slowly revealing more about their anticipated new album, 1755, and today you can have a look at the album cover art and tracklist as well. Set to be released on November 3rd 2017 on Napalm Records, 1755 is described as "the musical version of the year of horror where a giant earthquake wrecked their home Lisbon. Naturally this album comes and is sung in Portuguese." Fernando Ribeiro also said the band will be touring with Cradle Of Filth in Europe next January and February, 2018.

Moonspell - Cancel Entire Latin America Tour

Portuguese giants Moonspell are celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band and were ready to start an extensive Latin American Tour, kicking off in Mexico on May 25th. Unfortunately for their fans, the band has announced that all dates of their live performances had to be cancelled due to lack of professionalism from the local organizer, Cronos Entertainment. In their announcement, which you can read in full below, Moonspell apologize to the fans and promise to try and reschedule for a visit in 2018.

Moonspell - To Release 'Irreligious' 20th Anniversary Vinyl

One of Moonspell's best albums, if not the best, Irreligious, returns on vinyl for the first time since its original release back in 1996! It will be released on October 7th, 2016 via Century Media Records. In cooperation with the band, the label decided to re-visit the band's quintessential album as original vinyl editions have been hard to find and are very expensive nowadays. This 20th anniversary edition includes various additional treats.

Moonspell - Announce New Shows, Working On New Material

Moonspell have toured extensively in support of their latest album, Extinct. But the touring will continue. In fact, the Portuguese group just announced their final tour for 2016 that will bring them to Spain and France. They will also perform at the Eindhoven Metal Meeting and Graspop Metal Meeting with an Irreligious set for the record's twentieth anniversary.
