Haha, indeed finally. Last year, it seemed like Americans were totally discriminated unlike us Europeans.

Aside from a very weak sound during Slayer and Lars' incompetent bass drums, 25th of July 2010 was a really great and memorable day for me. enjoy, americans

Would anyone be surprised if one of the sponsor companies of the tour was the Hoveround Power Chairs?

Questions that spring to mind:
1. how much?
2. how close?
3. who will be singing for Anthrax?
4. is there really any reason to go? Have seen two of the bands before. Slayer half a dozen times including during their prime, and Megadeth doing RIP a year ago and they didn't sound so hot. the notion of "just going to see a band because i have a chance" doesn't quite get me quite as fired up as "holy shit, this band is coming here!" factor in a price tag of likely no less than $80...
it's 2011, not 1990.

If it's close, I'm definatly there.
But, really, I've already seen the bands worth seeing: Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax at American Carnage II, and Metallica just isn't worth wasting money to see IMO.
Then again, when am I gonna get another opportunity like this?

Have yet to see any of the bands live yet so if I'm able to go I'm going. Preferably in Maine but its not going to happen so I'm going to hope for New Hampshire.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was already planned long ago and they just make it look like "the demands have been answered".
All this sounded like a huge marketing operation right from the start, no more.
I agree with Bittercold about "it's 2011, not 1990".

I just feel like Metallica only signed on to do these tours if their logo could be twice as large as everyone else's on the posters.

I've seen Metallica 5 times, Slayer 7 times, Megadeth 4 times, and Anthrax once. BUT not in the same night! Count me in! (if they come close that is)

^ I'm sure that's all that matters to Hetfield.

Considering I could most likely see 4 other shows for the price of this one, I think I'll pass.
Not that they would be stopping in Oregon anyways...
