Iron Maiden - To Release New Best Of Album
EMI are proud to announce the release of From Fear To Eternity: The Best Of 1990-2010, a double-CD set spanning twenty years of Iron Maiden history.
This release follows the huge success of 2010's studio album The Final Frontier, which hit the number one spot in 28 countries around the world. It also became the band's highest-charting album in the USA where Iron Maiden have just been awarded their first Grammy for Best Metal Performance, for the song "El Dorado", taken from The Final Frontier album, and which is included in this selection.
From Fear To Eternity: The Best Of 1990-2010 will also be made available as a Digital Download Album and as a Limited Edition Triple Vinyl Picture Disc.
Iron Maiden are about to embark on the Mexican/South American leg of their Final Frontier World Tour. The tour includes stops in Argentina and Chile where both shows will be filmed for inclusion in a DVD to be released later this year.

What about this for a Best of 90-10: (all albums represented) Holy Smoke, From Here To Eternity, Wasting Love, Fear Of The Dark, Sighn Of The Cross, The Angel And The Gambler, Lightning Strikes Twice, Como Estais Amigos, Dream Of Mirrors, The Nomad, The Thin Line Between Love And Hate, Dance Of Death, Paschendale, Face In The Sand, Journeyman, For The Greater Good Of God, The Legacy, When The Wild Wind Blows. Also, does anyone here know what como estais means?

Written by [user id=17278] on 18.03.2011 at 02:49 It's ironic that those songs are both atrocious, the worst songs on the album, yet they are the two songs released as singles back then. NPFTD is undoubtedly a shitty album but there are much better songs on it than "Holy Smoke" and BYDTTS. Tells a lot about the quality of Maiden's musical taste at the time and the quality of the material they would later release.
