Dimmu Borgir - Special Show With Orchestra Announced For Wacken Open Air 2012
Norwegian symphonic black metal act Dimmu Borgir has been confirmed for Germany's Wacken Open Air 2012. Similarly to their show at Spektrum in Oslo, Norway earlier this year they will be supported by an orchestra and choir. According to the Wacken website this will be the band's only European festival performance of this kind.

Written by MyNameJeff on 15.09.2011 at 01:33 Dimmu played with orchestras on their records way before Septic Flesh. Besides of that, Septic Flesh plays more br00tal stuff than Dimmu. BTW, first time they did this they said it was a "once in a lifetime" show, I knew that was bullshit!

Hopefully they get a solo tenor to sing Vortex's parts. That would be much more interesting than the recorded choir.

So they fired Vortex, brought in Snowey Shaw to record Abrahadabra, but he left just after. So why don't they have a clean singer anymore? Is it all pre-recorded?
