Nice to see some voice of reason in this thread. Shame it's from mostly same individuals.

About the album itself, I heard two or three songs and lost desire to go through the rest. I really don't know what they were aiming at with this release.

I've read At the Gates' Gardens of Grief and Grotesque's In the Embrace of Evil were re-released as a split by Century Media in 2001 (says Wiki).

I had no idea it had been re-released as a split... And you can't believe everything you read on wiki.

Anyway, I'm only aware of it's original release on it's own in 1991.

True, but for what it's worth it's on metal-archives as well. Regardless, I think we're off topic!

Hummm... it's not very good. they really haven't done a good album since the 90's :/
