Australian thrash metallers Mortal Sin have announced that Nekrofeist's Dave Tinelt will be the band's new vocalist following the departure of Mat Maurer, who left the band in February.

The band posted the following on their Facebook page: "Well here it is guys, we would like to welcome to the Sinners camp our new frontman and all round top guy Dave Tinelt, Dave comes to us from another great Aussie band Nekrofeist, we are very excited for him to join the family, our first show with Dave will be this Saturday at Venom in Sydney, more shows to follow in the next few weeks. More news coming..."
