Omen - New Album Release Date Delayed
It looks like Hammer Damage, the new album from Omen will not be released in June as originally planned. Pure Steel Records has issued the following announcement about the new album from US power metal band being postponed: "We regret to inform you that the new Omen album Hammer Damage release is postponed again. The hurricane damage to Kenny Powell's house was larger than first thought, so problems in the completion of mixing and mastering could not be avoided. We were hoping to finally being able to realize a release at the specified date - it was not to be."
Kenny stated: "First off I hate to be an excuse maker, but I have had a huge problem with the studio, I have been putting off a new roof on my house until the record was finished, after several days of heavy rain, the studio was flooded and the roof collapsed in. It took me several days to patch things up and clean up all of the equipment, thankfully nothing was damaged."
