Italian power metallers Ancient Bards are preparing the release of a new split-single with Serenity In Murder which will be titled Prelude To Awakening and feature one new song. This will be the band's first new material since the release of Soulless Child last year.

The band posted on their official Facebook page: "News time! We are glad to announce the release of Prelude To Awakening a split-single album in collaboration with the band Serenity In Murder, in which our new song "Across This Life" will be featured. The single will be out on November 15th for the Japanese market, and will also be available at our web-shop."
