Metal Church - New Album Title Announced

When heavy metallers Metal Church announced their reunion at 70000 Tons Of Metal 2013, there was speculation about whether a new album would be in the works too. Well, the band has now completed the work on their new album and have set Generation Nothing as the title. The band's 10th studio album was recorded at Vanderhoof's English Channel studio in Washington. The release date will be announced soon but it should come out this year. The anticipation for the follow-up to This Present Wasteland begins.

The band's line-up consists of singer Ronny Munroe, Kurdt Vanderhoof (guitar), Steve Unger (bass), Jeff Plate (drums) and Rick Van Zandt (guitar).

Metal Church previously stated about the new effort: "This could be the best MC record of the Metal Church MK3 era!"

The band will perform at the Metal Days Festival in Slovenia (July 26th) and the Headbangers Open Air in Germany (July 27th).

US tour dates:

August 2 - Mainstage - Ramona, CA
August 3 - Tiki Bar - Costa Mesa, CA
August 4 - Whisky A Go Go - West Hollywood, CA

Damn, I can't wait to hear it. I'm really glad they got back together. This current lineup is really good actually...it's the same guys who played on "This Present Wasteland".

...which includes Kurdt Vanderhoof, of course. One of the most criminally underrated guitarists that ever lived.
