Soulfly - Release Lyric Video For New Song

Max Cavalera's Soulfly have released the first taste off their new album in the form of an official lyric video for the song "Bloodshed", which is the first single of Savages set for release on October 4th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Take a look at the lyric video created by Tommy Antonini (Tasters guitarist) below. Tell us what you think about the song.

"Bloodshed" features Cavalera's son Igor (Lody Kong) on guest vocals and was already played on the band's most recent European run. More album details can be found here.

Max Cavalera said: "The song is about the absurdity of the human condition in territories plagued by bloodshed all over the world. Not just recent events like Iraq, but also historical conflicts such as the U.S. Civil War, World Wars I and II, etc."

This is not terrible. The song is too long and there's a shift in it's energy that make it sort of forgettable, but maybe the rest of the album will be better. At least Max is consistent with putting out new material. If only better bands would do the same. Satyricon and Mayhem for example...

Yikes! Not good... And I <3 Max... oh well... cover art is OK but not sinister enough... nice bubbly guitar solo was alright... lyrics so simple... and I had hopes.
