Feels like I've been waiting a lot longer than just a few years for these guys to finally release a new album... #Stoked

If this song is anything to go by, I'm actually pretty interested. Though, symphonic metal? I was kind of expecting anything else than what I heard.

Not sure if this is going to be the norm or not. Their last couple albums have a more Melodeath style that dominates, with slower more melodic tracks and interludes akin to this. It's been 5 years since their last album, and this being the first single I'm inclined to think they might be making the Melodeath aspect of their previous albums to possibly not be so dominant anymore, but Idk for sure, will need to wait and see. Even if the album is going to be more like this track, I'm still excited to hear it.

Yea, it's not full on Symphonic, but the violin definitely adds a classical element to the music, and just calling them "Melodic Death" doesn't feel like it does them any justice. "Melodic Death" makes me think of "Melodic Death", not "Melodic Death with a Violin", but "Melodic Death with a Violin" isn't exactly a genre.
