Devilment - Dani Filth's Project Recording Debut Album

U.K.-based band Devilment, featuring vocalist Dani "Filth" Davey of British extreme metallers Cradle Of Filth, has entered Grindstone Studios with producer Scott Atkins (Psylosis, Amon Amarth, Cradle Of Filth, and others) to begin recording their debut album for a possible 2014 release.

The band updated on how the process is going: "Greetings Devilheads, the Witch County tear-aways and Suffuck's Finest, Devilment, have been extremely busy of late, laying down the drum tracks at Grindstone Studios with legendary producer Scott Atkins, for what promises to be an amazing debut album. Work reconvenes in a few weeks time after the drum editing is done and this gives both Daniel and Colin time to work together on the improvements made working in the studio for a week of sweltering Summer country weather. Special guests have been alerted to the time frame and the artwork for the album is already well underway, courtesy of resident (evil) artist Jamie Huntley."

Below you find an older demo of the band to get an idea of what they sound like.

Have you ever noticed that "-ment" is one of the most overused suffixes in all of metal?
