Bong - New Album Next Year, Snippet Available

British sludge/doom innovators Bong have a new album on the way. Their label Ritual Productions confirmed that they have completed work on the follow-up to Mana-Yood-Sushai, which is due for release on March 2014. More info is coming in the next few weeks but for now you can get a taste of the new track "Polaris" here. Oh, and it's eight minutes long.

The band also released Idle Days On The Yann this year via Blackest Rainbow Records, which is streaming at this location if you still haven't listened to it. These tracks were recorded by Bong back in the Summer of 2009, with the addition of vocals from Holly Forster.

Not that odd since they actually are a psychedelic drone/sludge band on my ears.
