The last time we heard of Maria "Tristessa" Kolokouri, she was in critical condition battling leukemia. The frontwoman of the Greek black metal band Astarte seems to be improving with the treatments and the updates on her health condition have been regular.

Latest update given by her husband: "Hi to everybody we went at hospital last Friday and the results was that Maria is getting stronger, slowly but steady. We have new test the next week, so Maria now is getting power for the next step in our house. Nicolas."

February 17th update: "Hi to all of you. Maria is out of the hospital from yesterday and the recovery is slow this time. We are at our home and she is resting. It is continuous fight for life and we struggle with all our power. We just want to live and see our son growing, nothing more nothing less. It is unfair to every man in this condition but with faith, persistence and patience we stand strong. I would not stop to thanking you for support that you giving to Maria and us. Nicolas."
