That's right, De Profundis are working on a new album to follow The Emptiness Within. In fact, the death metal band is currently in the studio recording new material. So far, the band has laid down some bass lines and recorded drums for 9 songs out of the 11 in total at Barking Dog Studio. Excited to hear new tunes from De Profundis?

Latest updates: "Barking Dog Studio UPDATE DAY 4: Nick has completed the drums for 9 songs out of the 11 to be recorded. Tomorrow should be the last day of drum tracking. Arran has been laying down some more bass lines. Paul and Shoi should start laying down some guitars from Tuesday onwards."

"Nick's cruising through the drum recording - only 2 songs left to do tomorrow, then it's onto more bass recording! There are some ridiculous tempos in these new songs!"
