Grave Digger - New Album Cover, Title And Dates


The successor to Grave Digger's Clash Of The Gods will be called Return Of The Reaper, it has been revealed. The 17th album of the German metallers is, according to mastermind Chris Boltendahl, a strong focus back to the all time classic albums of Heavy Metal Breakdown (1984), Witch Hunter (1985) and The Reaper (1993). The album cover was created by Gyula (Hjules Illustration and Design), who has been doing all Grave Digger album artworks since The Last Supper.   • 11 July 2014 - Germany/Austria/Switzerland, Finland & Benelux
  • 14 June 2014 - UK & rest of Europe
  • 16 June 2014 - Spain/Sweden/Norway
  • 15 July 2014 - USA/Canada

    Yeah that one should be listed as a demo, so I've fixed that. It's interesting because it was their first bit of recorded music after they went for a name change to just "Digger," with a change in sound to match. Apparently, according to MA, they also changed their name to "Hawaii" (of all things) prior to that demo as well.
