Dead Congregation - New Album Cover Unveiled

Death metal fans rejoice because Dead Congregation just unveiled the first details of their new album. To follow Graves Of The Archangels (2008), the Greek metallers will release their second record Promulgation Of The Fall. You can take a look at the cover artwork right now, available below. Now all you can do is wait and prepare yourself for the new Dead Congregation album.

The release dates have been set for:
  • CD worldwide (except North America) - Martyrdoom Productions, 5th of May
  • CD North America - Profound Lore Records, 27th of May
  • LP worldwide - to be announced soon

    I don't really like the artwork; very much not my kind of style. Always nice not to see a naked, mutilated woman giving birth to a demon on a death metal album though (not that that would happen in a band like this).

    Their previous album did not click for me but I'd check this one for sure to see if they introduce new ingredients.

    It's sorta like a Cannibal Corpse album cover, except less obscene and detailed.

    I'd love to see a Cannibal Corpse album do something like this. Something really arty and pretentious and not gorey.

    I like this cover art, mostly just that spot underneath the cross. The perspective there is interesting. But also dislike the fact it's a little hard to tell what is going on in it.

    Entombed were old school DM.

    so did morbid angel and incantation. dead congregation is much closer to this type of OSDM..
