The Wacken Open Air 2013 included over 120 bands on seven stages, and 75.000 fans. Metalheads from all over the world celebrated the party in the little village of Wacken in Northern Germany. The footage from Wacken Open Air 2013 will be released as a triple DVD / triple Blu-ray edition and double CD edition. The DVD and Blu-ray editions will feature live footage of 106 songs from 43 bands (with highlights like Alice Cooper, Nightwish, Sabaton, Motörhead, Deep Purple, Annihilator, Anthrax, Lingua Mortis Orchestra feat. Rage, and Ugly Kid Joe). The audio version on 2 CDs features 32 highlights. Live At Wacken 2013 will be available on July 28th (UK) and 28th (US), on DVD, CD, Blu-ray and as digital download via UDR Records.

Live At Wacken 2013 even serves a good cause that keeps heavy music alive: all bands and labels have donated their royalties to the Wacken Foundation, a non-profit organisation in support of the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal scene. UDR Records will also be making a donation of 1 Euro for each and every DVD & CD sold, with everyone involved, from manufacturing to marketing, supporting the Foundation.

This year, Wacken Open Air 2014 is set to take place from July 31st - August 2nd.
