Russian/Ukrainian folk doom metal outfit Kauan are premiering the closing track to their upcoming sixth album Muistumia, a crowd-funded collection of re-recorded tracks from their raw and early days as teenagers in Chelyabinsk, Russia. The song "Orkidea" is a newly re-recorded and re-arranged version of the closing track to the band's 2008 sophomore effort Tietäjän Laulu. The track can be heard via the YouTube video below.




The band is most notable for being one of the only non-Finnish entities to sing almost exclusively in Finnish. The album's title Muistumia translates to "Reminiscences" and features six re-recorded tracks and one brand new song called "Unsoi". The vinyl release also features two bonus tracks.

It will be available for pre-order on September 17th, 2014 via Finnish label Blood Music and released on November 4th, 2014.
