Excalion - New Album
Finnish metallers Excalion have issued the following studio update:
"The band is recording their new album entitled Waterlines at Watercastle Studios in Jyväskylä, Finland this month. The album will bring 10 songs. The new songs are very mature both musically and lyrically. The whole band has improved a lot since their debut album in 2005 and the vocals of Jarmo Paakkonen are more impressive than ever. The actual music is fully rich in the song-writing and playing, it isn't prog or power metal anymore; there are strong influences of Euro melodic metal and US hard rock. We
could say the band found their "own sound" for now! Visit the band website (www.excalion.com) to check the studio diary; they have added some pics and videos."
Expect the as-yet-untitled album to be released through Sound Riot Records later this year.
