In The Silence - Launch New Album Crowdfunding Campaign
Progressive metallers In The Silence have been preparing a crowdfunding campaign for their new album and it was finally launched today. You can help the band fund the recordings of the follow-up to the brilliant debut A Fair Dream Gone Mad. There are several perks, including some In The Silence memorabilia and joining the band in the studio during the recording process! You can contribute at this location.
The money will cover the studio time to track the album at Fat Cat Studios in Sacramento. The band has 10 new songs to complete.

Happy to contribute the price of a normal download, but the packages are rather weird - the fact that a digital copy of the album isn't an available pledge is weird. I'll skip paying $30 for a physical copy I think and stick to the lower pledges - the band's debut was great but not enough for me to gamble on future releases

I too think that pledging $30 for a physical copy (and no way to get a digital copy with a lower pledge) is a bit much. Still did it, because I really loved the first one and I have high hopes for the new album. If it doesn't live up to my expectation, well, at least I've helped a very good band a bit in their way.
