Nightwish - Reveal New Album Title, Cover Art And More
Nightwish start their week by revealing all about their new album. Firstly, it will be called Endless Forms Most Beautiful. Their long-awaited new album comes out on March 27th (Europe), March 30th (UK) and March 31st (US) via Nuclear Blast Records. The detailed cover artwork was created by longtime collaborator Toxic Angel and the album features eleven new songs. Feast your eyes on the cover below.
The album's first single Élan is coming first on February 13th, 2015. Endless Forms Most Beautiful will be the first Nightwish studio album to feature Dutch vocalist Floor Jansen. And the famed evolutionary biologist and writer, Professor Richard Dawkins will guest on this eighth studio album.

Written by Tome73 on 22.12.2014 at 15:53 I really don't think Thomas sits around coming up with ways to fire singers. ...and it isn't just singers: Marco's not the first guy to hold the spot he does and Jukka may or may not be back "on the throne". Life happens. Really, four people in almost 20 years is not high turnover. Cover is not what I was hoping for. It looks like an Expendables poster rendered in animals. Good thing its just the cover.

In a way it reminds of "Hydra". Nevertheless, Floor being control of the vocals, and Dysney being replaced by Darwin makes feel very positive about this one!

I can't figure out a single thing from the cover, also most albums this year had spherical covers... Here's to hoping the music overshadows the cover art. They should have named it "Endless Forms Most Grey and Brownish".

I love Floor and I think that she suits Nightwish perfectly. But I'm a little bit nervous about the fact that the album is conсeptual, even more conceptual than Imaginaerum is.

Floor's going to kick ass. I hope the music will support her in doing that... The cover is meh indeed. Looks like someone gathered lots of tiny photos into a collage and discarded the colour information in the end. Especially if you compare it to their first album covers...
