Enslaved - Release Lyric Video For New Song

Are you ready for some new Enslaved? Here it is folks, finally a new song from the Norwegian metallers. Below you can enjoy the lyric video for an edited version of the track "Thurisaz Dreaming", the opener taken from the upcoming album In Times. It's the first piece of new material you get to hear for now. Enjoy and share your thoughts!

Ivar Bjørnson states: "Finally, the first song from the album is released upon the world! This great lyric video is certainly a good way to present the song and the album. 'Thurisaz Dreaming' was the first song to be written for the album, and kept the place as the natural opener for the album all the way throughout the entire making of the album. It leaps out of the speaker and grabs you by the throat - it's a song that makes you take a stand right there during the first seconds of the album: are you up for the journey?! Of course you are!"

Tracklist:
01. Thurisaz Dreaming
02. Building With Fire
03. One Thousand Years Of Rain
04. Nauthir Bleeding
05. In Times
06. Daylight

You can grab In Times on March: 6th (Europe), 9th (UK), 10th (US) via Nuclear Blast Records.

Only on my first listen man, too early to really judge from that critical a level, especially with a band like Enslaved where their music typically takes multiple listens to absorb fully. Don't worry, you'll have a review coming from me relatively shortly

I meant quality as in, for example, FLAC, 320kbps, etc.

I find that YouTube, even in HQ, isn't representative of an actual CD rip (i.e. 320 CBR) or lossless formats. I believe YouTube compresses audio.

Sweet, they've got their heaviness back after Riitiir.

Nice track, good combination of viking black agresiveness and prog vibes. High hopes for the new album!

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Dude I honestly do not pay any attention to that stuff
If it sounds good it sounds good, I've never really dug into the audio mechanics of all of that. I know it's like a holy science to some people and they turn into Norman Bates if something isn't in their desired format, but I've never really put too much thought into it.

Yeah, I guess so. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I did a couple of "blind" tests and found that I could only discern a significant difference up to 320CBR. A couple of albums I got back when I first got into metal were of inferior quality and - while I don't think I could have enjoyed them any more at the time if the quality up to par with my current standards - once I noticed the diference I had to replace them. Probably just me being perfectionist

Yup, I know. I wasn't asking him how the quality of the "early release" reviewers received compared to the YouTube link provided above - I was asking how it compares to the actual CD release

Edit: apologies for the off-topic posts.

I was hoping this not to be a letdown after Nightwish's, now I'm content.
Where's the full track before I throw f bomb to nuclear blast.
