Civil War - Line-Up Changes
Civil War have posted some news regarding recent changes in their line-up. Firstly, guitar player and founding member Oskar Montelius decided to leave the band due to personal reasons. As he states in the main website, he is leaving not only the band, but also guitar playing, at least for the moment. At the same time, Civil War decided to part ways with bass player Stefan "Pizza" Eriksson. Finally, the power metallers have also announced that they will not look for any replacements.
Don't forget that the band is about to release their new album Gods And Generals. A video for the new song "Bay Of Pigs" will be released within the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned!

I'd forgotten that they had even added another guitarist, so I suppose they still have one to cover the bass where needed... But the tag team of Oskar and Rikard was one of my favorite things about Sabaton, and the main thing that got me interested in Civil War. That's a real shame. I don't like the sound of that "but also guitar playing." I can understand losing the spark and all, but he's one of my favorite guitarists, so I hope he gets it back. It sounds like some shenanigans are afoot with Stefan as well. That's some fairly unpleasant news there.
