Sunn O)))'s new album, Kannon, has been highly anticipated. And while it's being released only a few days from now, on December 4th through Southern Lord Records, the wait is over for fans. As of now, you can already prepare your ears and succumb to the drone sounds of Kannon online and in full over here. What do you think of their first studio album in six years?

Consisting of three self-titled pieces of a triadic whole, the roots to Sunn O)))'s new album trace deeply into the sessions of their 2009-released Monoliths & Dimensions LP and very recent collaborative recordings with Ulver (Terrestrials, 2014) and Scott Walker (Soused, 2015), culminated and fully realized this year.
