Another fallen brother in metal, who passed away from cancer. This time, it was Alain Cazelles, who was the vocalist in A New Dawn's 1997 self-titled demo.

The band posted two updates:

14 September at 20:34: "We just received the news that Alain Cazelles passed away 'round six this evening. Alain was the lead-singer of Mental Captivity and also the male-vocalist in the early project days of A New Dawn. Although the current members of A New Dawn (with the exception of Elbert) never met Alain, it always feels as if a part of your family disappears. Until Valhalla, Brother."

14 September at 13:45: "A Couple of weeks ago we received message that Alain, our first and only male vocalist so far, is preparing to exchange this life for the next. One of his songs, written almost 15 years ago, was never recorded so we did this as a musical 'Goodbye' to him. We got word today that he was able to listen to this song and liked it... So hopefully you do too. We've recorded the studio sessions on video and we would like to share it with you."
