Zeal And Ardor - Launch First Ever Video

Experimental outfit Zeal And Ardor have shot a video clip for the song "Devil Is Fine", taken from the band's critically acclaimed sophomore album with the same title. The clip was directed by Samuel Morris and you can watch the final product below. Devil Is Fine is out since April through Reflections Records.

Manuel Gagneux commented: "I was hesitant about making a video at first. Luckily, I had the chance of working with Samuel Morris and Fabio Tozzo, who immediately understood what the song was about. The result is something we are immensely happy with. A layered and telling series of images waiting for you to notice their intent. I'm beyond excited to share this with you."

Is this band Swiss?

why would you think that? As far as I know Manuel is American.

Did you open my link? Noisey, who premiered this video, called it as "Swiss black metal blues"

Haha somehow I overlooked that you posted a link and thought you were asking a question. My mistake.

Hahahaha I just heard from his label boss that Manuel is originally Swiss. So apparently Noisey us correct.

Both versions are correct. According to that interview (posted by @cobrapel): his father is from Switzerland and mother is an American.

Pretty sure I'm in love with this guy. All of the interviews I've read make him seem like he's just the coolest damn person in the world.

Also, I really like this video. Didn't expect him to get big enough to start putting out stuff like this.

Z&A shows potential indeed. I am greatly looking forward to their next attempt at black-spiritual-techno-BM.

Is this band Swiss?

also, unless they were talking about the video as a debut, Devil Is Fine is not his debut.

Are you sure though? The self-titled could be considered as an EP. As girls say, the length doesn't matter

This site has plenty of errors, so I wouldn't bet on it

Marcel should contact that label boss and resolve this case too...

I don't think Reflections Records released the debut.
Btw, Devil Is Fine is regarded by many as an e.p. as well and not a full-length.

It wasn't released physically.
