Rainbow - To Release Two New Recordings
A new Rainbow song is being released next week! The latest version of Rainbow will release its first new music in more than two decades on May 26th. Two tracks are currently available for pre-order on iTunes: a new song called "Land Of Hope And Glory" and a re-recording of the classic "I Surrender", which was first released in 1981.
Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore performed a handful of shows with a brand-new lineup of the band last year. The show they performed in Birmingham, England - Rainbow's first in Blackmore's native country in more than 20 years - is also available for pre-order, and is expected to arrive on June 9th.
The current incarnation of Rainbow includes singer Ronnie Romero, Stratovarius keyboardist Jens Johansson, Blackmore's Night drummer David Keith, bassist Bob Nouveau (ex-Blackmore's Night), and backing singers Candice Night and Lady Lynn.

Really awesome that Ritche Blackmore is doing some Rainbow stuff again!! I'm not really expecting much but I just watched a few videos from that concert. They sound good!

I don't know, I watched a few live clips and Ritchie's playing was really sloppy. I kinda hope it's going to be good but no real expectations...
