Nightwish - To Start New Tour In North America

Nightwish are taking a year off but they will return with a new tour next year. In March 2018, the symphonic metal legends will begin their 9-month-long "Decades: World Tour 2018" starting with 34 shows in North America. The band will have a very special setlist for the tour, featuring rarely heard material from the earlier era, and they will revisit the old songs with some new twists. To accompany the tour, Nuclear Blast will release a 2CD compilation entitled Decades on the 9th of March 2018.

This setlist will be a 'one-off' and only performed on this tour.

Do you reckon they have re-recorded the older stuff with Floor on the 2CD?

I hope so! I love listening to the old stuff with new band live.

Floor.

She's from the Netherlands; I'm pretty sure Floor means Flower in their language (like Fleur in France and Flor in Spain).

Actually, Floor is a variation of the name Florence, from Latin "florens", meaning "flower" and cognate with French "fleur", Spanish "flor" orEnglish "flower". Incidentally, flower is "Bloem" in Dutch, cognate with German "Blume" and English "bloom". So yes, her name means "flower" yet "Floor" isn't Dutch for "flower".
