Queens Of The Stone Age - Frontman Kicks Photographer In The Head, Later Apologizes In Video

Recently, during Queens Of The Stone Age's set at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show in Inglewood, California, frontman Josh Homme kicked a photographer in the head. There's footage of the moment below. Chelsea Lauren, the photographer, posted the video on her Instagram page and said that she was hospitalised after being kicked by Homme. According to her, the incident was unprovoked. Since then, vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme has released a video apologizing for his behavior.

Chelsea Lauren, the Shutterstock photographer who was struck by Homme, said: "It was obviously very intentional." Lauren, who said she plans to file a police report today, told Variety: "The next thing I know his foot connects with my camera and my camera connects with my face, really hard. He looked straight at me, swung his leg back pretty hard and full-blown kicked me in the face."

Yeah... he did not mean to do it. Until you watch the video and notice that he did it and grinned like a total jackass. Being high is not an excuse either, as some people think. Snorting glue is a choice as well. How lost can you be in the performance to notice the camera and kick it? Even fanboys would raise an eye-brow.

I suspect a few fans will have lost respect for Homme after this. It was a douche thing to do, but somehow I am not surprised something like this happened, he is egotistical AF and a prime example of someone who's fame has gotten too much to their head. Their older music was good back in the day though.

Fan-boys will follow him even if he kills someone. His loss is negligible. A lot of people brush it as 'rock 'n' roll' behavior.

I can't pretend to know if it was intentional or not. I was honestly baffled by the idea that he clearly meant to after seeing the video. It looks like it easily could have been on purpose, but it's very unclear. Also it's kinda hard to see a grin without getting a halfway decent shot of his face
