Portuguese grinders Simbiose have sadly lost their bassist Bifes, aka Sérgio Curto, in a fatal car accident. He was only 34 years old.

The band left this message: "It is with great sadness and revolt that we announce the death of our bassist last night, after the concert last night, on his return home he had a fatal accident. We want to thank you for all the moments you have given us, in your capacity as great warrior, companion, friend and unique person that will never be forgotten in our hearts by the person who was.

"We are speechless, it was too soon this great friend, full of projects yet to be realized. R.I.P. Bifes."
