Anything was fine untill a staffer barged into the thread, denouncing predictable results, pointing out his unique skills of spotting the 'quality of the music' and - last but not least - questioning the sense of the awards.
If I wanted to bail out that particular staffer, I'd strongly advise him to claim that his account had been temporarily hacked.

Interesting how someone simply voicing an opinion on the outcome of the awards appears to perturb you more than two other people (higher ups who should know better, no less) swooping down on that person with swearing and other personal attacks. But I guess that type of behavior is justified to you because boohoo, I said something that you didn't like or agree with. Grow up.

And indeed, it was perturbing to see a staffer dragging the MSA through the dirt. Considering how much time and effort your fellow staffers and contributors put into the awards, I thought all of you could rightly be proud of it.

Please expand your collection of knockout arguments. Besides "Grow up", there's also "Get a life", "You are just trolling", "You suck", "Your mum is ugly" and a shitload of it. All of them come in handy when you're running out of real arguments.

Talking about "growing up": I'd really like to know who advised you to better hastily delete your two previous knee-jerk reactions. I guess it's not me but it's you who still has to grow up and learn his lessons of temperance and self-control.



Just for the record: I am not a fan of Immortal. I do not own a single piece of their music and I never voted for them anywhere. The sole connection between Immortal and me is that I saw them live before you even knew that black metal existed (1993).

We have actually been trying to achieve this for a long time. Radu's diss track came close to nomination but now we have a real winner I think.

we did win Drama of the Year for MS vs Wikipedia back when I wrote the drama summaries. had a lot of good ones, yet that one. we win another drama, I'm going to nominate MS to join Gaahl in the "Hall of Fame/Lifetime Achievement Award" and thus no longer eligible.

though winning it a couple years apart would show more staying power than Gaahl's flash in the pan.

For god sake! (sorry for swearing). Who put Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want in category of Hardcore / Metalcore / Deathcore??!!!
I do not understand some twisted minds thinking that if music makes huge and spectacular impression it has to be Grindcore. On "You Won't Get What You Want" by Daughters there are even no guitars, no drums etc. It's industrial, horror type electronic music and NOT GRINDCORE or HARDCORE!!
I'm not saying it's bad music - it's just put into wrong category for MS Awards by someone who completely do not understand the meaning of "...core".
