Swedish melodic death metal band from Örebro (Sweden) confirmed that their founding member, guitarist and songwriter Henrik Tranemyr has passed away recently. No cause of death has been revealed so far.

The group's statement: "It's been awhile since we made any noise from the bereaved camp. Here goes ..it's with great heaviness in our hearts that we tell you that We have lost our dear friend, lead guitar player and songwriter. He have been fighting his inner demons for so many years but they won the battle in the end. Dealing with depression and anxiety is something that many do and trying to get help is a looong process. It shouldn't be that way! It's fucked up!

"So yesterday we said our last goodbyes to a great man, father, husband and brother! May he Sleep well on the seas of eternity.

"We don't know if we will be able to create something new like we have teased before. But we will try write something in the vein of what he would've had and to honor him in our own way. Love you brother."

Vocalist Travis Neal post a statement on his Facebook page: "Today my family in Sweden said goodbye to one of our dearest friends and brother Henrik Tranemyr. Henke was the lead guitar player in my band The Bereaved. My heart shattered when I heard the news and is still extremely heavy. I've been battling this inside for some time and haven't spoken of it until now as it's been so hard. My heart goes out to my brothers Tobhias Ljung, Mikael Nilsson and Nils Jonsson in our time of loss as well as Maria Högberg as she bares the heaviest burden of all.. I love you guys and wish I could've been there to say goodbye in arms with you. I'll see you on the other side my brother."
