Havnatt - New Album On The Way
Norwegian neofolk duo Havnatt have announced the release of their new album Ragnhildstreet, which drops on 20th of October 2020 via Secret Quarters Records. Below you can also check out the Robert Høyem-created cover artwork.
Statement from the label: ''Ragnhildstreet is a concept album of sorts, written and built around the six part poem with the same. The poem in six parts (originally numbered with roman numerals I - VI) was written by the Norwegian poet Tormod Skagestad back in 1946, shortly after the end of the Second World War. Using the lyrics completely unaltered, the Havnatt dark folk duo has constructed a musical journey through the entire poem. Arranged for voices and acoustic guitar instruments only, it's a haunting, warm and melancholic experience.''
