I wonder if they ever get bored with writing great music all the time.

I just bought A Dawn To Fear and now I am trying to get into them. The music so far is great but I don't know about the vocals... They're strange somehow. Not sure if I'll get used to them.

Strange in what way? I think they sound pretty much like any decent hardcore vocals from similar bands, coming off as sort of a crispier (less hoarse) Aaron Turner (or something). Welcome to MS, by the way, as this is your first post! I highly approve of your username and avatar.

Yep, the new song is good, but we already knew that because it was made by Cult Of Luna. One of the most reliable metal bands out there, A Dawn To Fear is at least half an hour too long by general album standards (push an LP beyond 50 minutes and it's very rarely a good thing) but in their case just leaves me wanting for more. Looking forward to the full EP.

Thank you! And the same goes for your avatar!

It's really hard to explain. I do like growls generally but something here slightly annoys me. But it's really just a first impression after listening to the album once and to Cult of Luna for the first time. I wouldn't overestimate that.
