Gary Moore - Collection Of Previously Unreleased Material Due In April
On April 30, Provogue Records will release How Blue Can You Get, a new album featuring previously unreleased material from the iconic blues-rock master Gary Moore. The effort contains 4 originals, and 4 songs previously recorded and made famous by classic bluesmen like Elmore James, Sonny Thompson, Memphis Slim and BB King. Official visualizer for one of the songs, "In My Dreams", is now available for listening.

Old bands did play 3 months shows, rest of time was studio jams and boozing. CD's sold out well, money came. Today biggest metal bands must play 300 days per year live, 3 years in row, no time for studio jams and money dont came in. This is old school. New bands, all new songs be on FB videos or bandcamps. I wonder how many songs Purple, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Ac/Dc, Jimi, Stones and pld rock dinosaurs has lost in a studio? Maybe even Mainde, Saxon and Priest.

Written by Bad English on 22.02.2021 at 11:16 I disagree with what you say there, but hey what's new. Old bands toured a lot because it was a way to be known and they also get paid obviously. They could not waste time and booze in the studio because studio time was expensive. Musicians would be kicked out of bands if they had alcohol problems or even worse drug problem, they'd lose their job. David Byron is the classic example. Hey, even look at Ozzy in the late 70s. So saying that bands were 3 months touring and the rest of time boozing it's just wrong and ridiculous. There were a lot of hard working musicians in the past.
