Rot - Bassist Passed Away
Brazil grindcore veterans Rot have a sad news to share. Their long-time bassist/vocalist and lyricist Alexandre "Bucho" Strambio has passed away due to Covid-19. Alex was part of the band for the last 25 years.
Statement from the band: "I could sing infinite praise about this man, about his role in the extreme music scene, but, at the moment all I can feel is hurt. We lost our bassist, vocalist and lyricist for COVID 19, another victim of this sanitary hazard that terrorizes our poor country. We'll never forget you, brother. It pains me to see you go, your legacy shall never be forgotten! Rest in Grind."
