While Kvaen are currently recording new album, the band's mastermind Jakob announced that the ex-Amon Amarth drummer Fredrik Andersson will join the band on selected shows this autumn because the current studio/live drummer Tommi Tuhkala will be touring with his band Outlaw.

Jakob states: ''Ladies and Gentlemen, we are proud to announce that Fredrik Andersson, known for his fantastic drumming and long career with bands like Amon Amarth, Netherbird, A Canorous Quintet, This Ending etc.. will help us out on the road while Tommi is away touring with his band Outlaw.
