Body Count just announced on their Facebook page that they have commenced working on their upcoming eighth studio album, to be entitled Merciless. There is currently no word on a possible release date for the new record, which follows the last year's Carnivore.

The band wrote: "BODYCOUNT NEWS: Even though we have not been able to perform ONE single concert to support the CARNIVORE album because of the Global Pandemic.. We've made the decision to Officially start the NEW BC Album 'MERCILESS' 2021 ...Stay tuned..."
