Ghost Bath - Upcoming Album's Second Single Launched
Ghost Bath are unveiling a visualizer for their newest single, "Hide From The Sun", featuring vocalist CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder. The song serves as the second preview of their upcoming Self Loather full length, due on October 29th, 2021.
Dennis Mikula comments, "Hide From The Sun" is the most DSBM track on the record. We've managed to achieve a devastating sound while keeping the track catchy and groovy. We worked with our friend CJ from Thy Art Is Murder who killed it on vocals and gave the tune a unique twist. It incorporates our new sound while staying true to Ghost Bath style."

Cool soft intro, good sludge based song, heavy riffs, good drums and cool vocals, and soft outro part.

I like this one a lot more than the first. Even though the vocals sound more regular they fit the pitch of the song. And the production is really good too. The guitar tone, the riffs, everything. After all when the bm is regular like that, it all comes to the production, really. It doesn't need to be raw and neither it needs to be well-produced, it just need to sound good when all is put together. And I gotta say, the production on this track one is spot on. Somehow it kinda reminds me of Forgotten Tomb on the good days.
