Aquilus - Launch 'Lucille's Gate' Single

In one month, the Melbourne-based neoclassical extreme metal project Aquilus will put out the sophomore album, Bellum I. To taste a piece of the album, the 9-minute long track "Lucille's Gate" has been unleashed.

The band's mastermind Waldorf says: "This track showcases some of the more blackened metal elements on the album. And the killer drumming by the Aquilus live/session drummer Zebadee Scott."

Wow! Very impressive song, love the intro, it had great atmosphere, and the drumming and guitarwork was exceptional. If this is a sign of what's to become, then this for me is an obvious contender for album of the year.

A decade in the making. This should be massive.
