Disconnect, an UK-based doom metal unit, announce official disbandment in 2022. Since the formation in 2011, the band put out 4 full length albums and 3 EPs. More can be read in statement below.

Disconnect's mainman Adam Miles comments: "2011 - 2022. It's been a good run. After extensive thinking and attempts to bring about a viable future for this project, Disconnect will cease to exist somewhere in the first half of the new year. We'd like to thank everyone who's supported us on our journey and I personally didn't think this band would display activity over a 10 year period.

"John will continue causing a general nuisance in Neamhní and several unannounced bands to come. Adam will be launching a new band in the future geared towards the extreme alongside his parody work in Kim Karkrashian.

"There will be no shows from us in the interim, however we will be releasing Towards Peace within the remainder of this year, with a final EP coming out in 2022 to conclude our work. Thanks once again, and we hope to catch some of you in a similarly miserable live setting with our other outlets."
