Dzö-nga - Part Ways With Two Members
Dzö-nga bassist Ray King and vocalist Grushenka Ødegård have decided to leave the band. Both members were part of the band since the formation in 2016. Nate Dilgard of Hemlok will step in as live bassist on upcoming shows.
[band]Dzö-nga[/band mastermind Cryvas comments: "Friends, This week marks a new chapter for Dzö-nga as we bid farewell to Grushenka and Ray, our clean singer and bassist. We shared four-plus pretty cool years together as the core of Dzö, taking it from a totally underground project to a recognized band about to embark on our first semi-national tour. I'm eternally thankful for that, and wish them all the best as they move onto new inspirations.
"Nate Dilgard of Hemlok will be filling in on bass for our upcoming show at Koto, after which we'll take the winter to decide our next steps. We have some fantastic new material in the works for our next album and can't wait to share it when the time comes - see you in May!"
Statement from Ray and Gru: "We have decided it is time for us to part ways with Dzö-nga in order to focus on other endeavors. Our time with the band has been truly special and we wish all of the other members of Dzö the best of luck and know they will continue to do great things. Thank you to everyone involved with Dzö-nga and we look forward to sharing our future projects with you."
