In The Woods... - Introduce New Vocalist

Norway's In The Woods... are very pleased to welcome Bernt Fjellestad (Guardians Of Time, Susperia) as their new full-time vocalist. He will replace James Fogarty. The band's next full length instalment is currently in recording phase. More info in due time. Stay tuned.

Statement from the band: "In The Woods... is very honored to introduce you to our new singer and frontman, he is no other that Mr. Bernt Fjellestad (Guardians Of Time, Susperia). We as a group are beyond excited for him to come into this band with such a drive and effort to make new music. Mr. Fjellestad is taking In The Woods... to a different level with his incredible talent for making the most beautiful melodies, heavy vocals and and a incredible work ethic. With this addition to the band, In The Woods... is finally once again gathered in the same city, where we together, can write and record music and preparing for a big 2022, a year that will see a new album, a year that hopefully will see In the Woods... on the road, once again. We are currently recording the next full length album, but due to the setback we experienced with parting ways with our former singer/songwriter Mr. James Fogarty, it will take some more time than we first hoped for. We all love and respect James, and he was an important part of the releases of Pure and Cease The Day, he was also an important piece of the live band, and for that we wish him good luck and good fortune in what lays next on his path.

"It is time to continue the story of In The Woods..., Anders Kobro, Nils Olav Drivdal, Bernt Sørensen, Bernt Fjellestad and Kåre André Sletteberg is ready to merge on this path. We hope to see you all in 2022. Stay safe, and thank you all for the immense support."

Really sad to hear about parting ways with the previous vocalist, the last two albums were what got me into the band and are on a completely different level to previous releases. Hopefully they'll continue in a similar direction musically anyway as I absolutely love those two albums!
