Vocalist and founding member of the Polish heavy metal band Kat & Roman Kostrzewski, Roman Kostrzewski, has passed away. He was 62 years old. In the 80's and 90's, Roman was also a long-time vocalist for one of the oldest Polish metal bands Kat.

It's thanks to him, I am who I am today in terms of music and more. Talked to him once before the show (just casual 'hi', handshake, etc.). A couple of times I just stood near and listened to him talking with fans. He was exceptionally wise while remaining warm and just a "normal" person. It's a great loss for the Polish metal scene. See You in hell, Master!
