Elegeion - Will Put Out First Record In 17 Years
May 1st, 2022 will see the return of Australian doomers Elegeion with a brand new full length effort, Plight Of The Heretic. This will be their first one in 17 years. Do not hesitate and give a listen to the 13-minute long title track as a first preview of what to come.
Finally! After 12 long years since the band's last offering, Elegeion have re-surfaced from the depths and are proud to announce the pre-order of their third full length album Plight Of The Heretic.
Written over the course of a decade and recorded, mixed and mastered over 14 gruelling months from November 2020 to January 2022, pausing at length through the many lockdowns throughout the pandemic, the pain, angst and despair of the times truly came through on the album.
It comprises five tracks totalling almost 50 minutes of the gothic / black / doom metal that you have come to expect from Elegeion, with new members and new ideas added, whilst still firmly attached to the old formula using strings and beautiful female vocals.
Comments the band on new track: "The debut title track from the album is now on Youtube! We're an underground band with limited exposure to the metal masses, so we'd really appreciate if our few but loyal fans could share this YouTube video far and wide to help generate interest the new album. Your support is, as always, eternally appreciated!"
