Flotsam And Jetsam - Writing Material For Next Music Output
It's been more than exactly a year since Flotsam And Jetsam, who just recently finished a European tour, released their most recent album Blood In The Water. In a recent interview at this year's Graspop Metal Meeting festival in Belgium, Flotsam And Jetsam vocalist Eric "A.K." Knutson offered an update on the band's next album, which is currently in the writing stages and it is expected to be out sometime in 2023.
Knutson said: "My guitar players, for [Blood In The Water], I think they wrote 40 songs and we only put 12 on the record, so we have a lot to choose from. Most of them will be taken apart, pieces stolen out of and stuff like that, but we have enough music to keep going for a long time."
As for the songwriting process, A.K. elaborated: "We're about halfway written with a new record. We have a formula going on right now that's really working for us and we're gonna probably stick to the same formula this time, so...you know, the last three records have really done some good for us."
