Equilibrium - Part Ways With Lead Singer
German epic folk metal band Equilibrium announced on Facebook that they are parting ways with their lead singer Robert "Robse" Dahn.
Here is the transcript:
"Last year marked 20 years of music creation for us, alongside worldwide adventures, and the incredible opportunity to be a part of your musical journey. Throughout these two decades, we've developed, progressed, and matured, not only as individuals but as a band.
In recent years we started to grow a sense that what once felt like a great symbiosis of musicians, developed in ways that didn't feel right in the same way that it used to. After several conversations and with an extremely heavy heart, our decision was that Equilibrium and Robse would part ways.
We understand that some of you might be frustrated with this change, but a change is also a chance. Since day one our goal has been to deliver the best musical experience that we can. Rest assured that we will do our very best to fulfill this goal in the future and take it to another level.
All announced and confirmed shows will be played, either with a guest vocalist or a new Equilibrium member. We are extremely grateful and will forever treasure all the unforgettable moments that we've shared with Robse throughout the years, and we wish him all the best with his future projects.
Having said that, we have already started to work on exciting new material and can't wait to share it with you."
Robse's statement on his Facebook:
"Hello friends and companions all over the world, having to quit Equilibrium feels like leaving a big love behind. None of this was my decision. Throughout 13 years I was allowed to be your friend and celebrate unforgettable moments on stages all over the planet with all of you. I’ll carry these treasurable moments in my heart for eternity and I am endlessly grateful for all the experiences and the wonderful time. I will continue with other musical projects and am wishing Equilibrium the best on their new path! Thank you for everything!
Robse"
