The Exploited - Early Drummer Passed Away
Punk drummer Steve Roberts who did play drums for The Exploited back in 1982, and for another punk band, UK Subs, has passed away.
UK Subs comments on the loss: ''It is with a deep sense of shock and sadness that we’ve received the news that Steve Roberts has passed away.
Steve joined the U.K. Subs in 1980 and it’s his superb muscular drumming that can be heard on the classic albums Diminished Responsibility and Endangered Species.
He was by general acclaim considered to be one of the best drummers to have played for the band and it’s a tragedy that his musical talent never got to fulfil its enormous potential. The U.K. Subs wish to collectively send condolences to the family and friends of Steve at this distressing time."
